Hi. I just wanted to say thanks for a great day on Saturday and such a spectacular course! The scenery and weather went from one extreme to another, with superb blue skies and coastal views descending into thick, cold foggy and flooded moors. There is no denying the terrain was tough but the knee deep mud, slippery rocks and deep water all added to the madness of the event! This was my first marathon and although it took much, much, longer than I had hoped - 6hrs 3mins. I think I can still hold my head up high as it was such a monster event. I've no doubt completing the same course in the summer without the heavy rains that preceded this weekend, it would be quite a different event, but I wouldn’t change a thing for Saturday! Great fun and organisation was second to none, with well marked course and helpful, friendly marshals all the way. Thanks again!
