Weather is looking fairly good, with some sun and a 10 mph southerly breeze forecast. Ground conditions are a little wet in places - but on the whole fine for this time of year.
Car parking: Parking must be purchased online prior to event day. Upon purchasing you will be sent an order confirmation email. When you arrive at the car park, simply show the team your order confirmation email on your phone - there is no need to print anything nor is there a need to have anything displayed in your vehicle windscreen.
To avoid vehicles queuing on the road network we kindly ask that you have this permit ready to show on your phone as you arrive at the event - thank you!
Feeling peckish? Well, you will be! Ravenscar Tearooms (just a stone's throw from the event site) are offering 10% off all food prices post run. Simply show your finisher's medal to take advantage of this offer. They also have a few other offers on if you have been part of the event - ask upon arrival. Enjoy!

Thank you for checking-in for this event! Participant numbers were posted out to all Checked-in participants last week. Please be patient for your number to arrive.
What if my paper number doesn't arrive? You can log in to your online account and request a replacement number from 12 midday until 8pm on Friday (the 25th of October, i.e. the day before the event). To do this, log in, select the event entry under "My Events" and look for the "Number lost or never received?" link. From here you can request a replacement number. It is only possible to do this the day before the event in order to give the postal system maximum time to deliver your original number.

Special notice for participants from previous years:
We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another season of unforgettable trail running! As we gear up for 2024-25, we’ve made a small but important change that we wanted to make clear to you.
This season, we’ve decided to streamline the events by removing complimentary t-shirts from most events - including this one. This change allows us to keep event entry prices affordable—something we feel is important. To give you an idea, since 2018, the entry fee for a 10K has only increased by £2, despite significant rising costs. Thanks to improved efficiencies, we’ve been able to keep this increase minimal, ensuring you continue to get good value.
But don’t worry—you will still have the opportunity to grab an Endurancelife t-shirt (or other awesome event merchandise) at a heavily discounted price during Check-in. We hope you’ll take advantage of this great offer and wear your Endurancelife gear with pride!

This event is part of the Endurancelife 24 - 25 trail running season (September 2024 till July 2025). Runners who complete any distance category at this event will be awarded points and will be listed in the Season Leader Board. Points are awarded based on performance and can contribute to a participant's overall season score. Good luck! Read more here.

Check-in! : We will be asking all registered participants to check in online approximately two weeks from the event. The Check-in process will result in a simpler event experience for you by removing the usual on-the-day administration. Within the Check-in process we will ask you to: 1) Confirm your preferred postal address to enable your participant number to be posted out and 2) Watch the mandatory event safety video.

We are delighted to launch the 2024 event today - come and join the fun!
Wholly located within the National Park, and utilising sections of the Cleveland Way, this area is superbly suited to trail running. These North Yorkshire 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra courses are rich and varied with reminders to Yorkshire's fine heritage all around - from the dry stone walls and disused railway lines, to the hardy sheep flocks up on the moors. The world famous Whitby Abbey is just a few miles up the road, so there is plenty to make a weekend long visit well worthwhile.
