Weather Update

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather forecast, as the current outlook suggests cold temperatures and snow towards the end of next week. However, forecasts often change, and it’s not uncommon for conditions to shift or improve closer to the day. For now, it’s too early to make any definitive decisions about whether the event will proceed or not or even whether the contingency routes are required.

We understand you may have questions about the event, but to ensure consistent communication, all updates will be posted here. Rest assured, we’ll also notify you directly via email or SMS if there are any significant updates.

Our current advice is as follows:

Please assume the event will go ahead as planned unless we notify you otherwise. Our focus is always to try to make the event happen.

If a cancellation or change becomes necessary, this decision may be made closer to the event or even on the day itself. While we would always aim to avoid last-minute changes, this is a possibility you should be aware of.

If you’re traveling from afar and the possibility of the event being cancelled would be a major inconvenience for you, it may be better to reconsider your travel plans to avoid this risk. While we’d love for you to join us, we understand the importance of safeguarding your time. This decision is entirely up to you and should be based on your individual circumstances.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and goodwill. Please continue to refer back to this tab for the latest updates.

Thank you for checking-in for this event! Participant numbers were posted out to all Checked-in participants on Wednesday. Please be patient for your number to arrive.

What if my paper number doesn't arrive? You can log in to your online account and request a replacement number from 12 midday until 8pm on Friday (the 22nd of November, i.e. the day before the event). To do this, log in, select the event entry under "My Events" and look for the "Number lost or never received?" link. From here you can request a replacement number. It is only possible to do this the day before the event in order to give the postal system maximum time to deliver your original number.

Special notice for participants who have participated in a previous Endurancelife event:

We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another season of unforgettable trail running! As we gear up for 2024-25, we’ve made a small but important change that we wanted to make clear to you.

This season, we’ve decided to streamline the events by removing complimentary t-shirts from most events - including this one. This change allows us to keep event entry prices affordable—something we feel is important. To give you an idea, since 2018, the entry fee for a 10K has only increased by £2, despite significant rising costs. Thanks to improved efficiencies, we’ve been able to keep this increase minimal, ensuring you continue to get good value.

But don’t worry—you will still have the opportunity to grab an Endurancelife t-shirt (or other awesome event merchandise) at a heavily discounted price during Check-in. We hope you’ll take advantage of this great offer and wear your Endurancelife gear with pride!

We are delighted to launch the newest event in the series - The Peak District!

Celebrated as the first National Park in England and Wales, the Peak District is well-known for its history of runner vs trail.

At the head of the Hope Valley and in the heart of the Peak District, Castleton hosts the event. Climbing out of Castleton through the famous Winnats Pass and over Mam Tor, the routes (10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra) cross from the white to the dark peak. While the longer distances incorporate the Edale valley and Kinder Scout, each of the routes provide glorious panoramas across the National Park.

Peak by name and peak by nature - this event is for the adventurous and boasts some tough trails!

Castleton is easy to access via road or rail. The train stations of Edale and Hope are close by with only a short taxi ride needed. This makes the location very accessible either for the day or if you want to make a weekend of it!
